Veterans Day Observance at War Memorial Park

Please join Tacoma Historical Society for the only Veterans Day observance within the Tacoma city limits.

Saturday, November 11, 2023 – 11:00

The event is free and everyone is welcome. The ceremony will be held at the Tacoma War Memorial Park, (N. Jackson Ave & the On Ramp to eastbound WA-16). Parking is available at the Narrows Park & Ride lot at the intersection of 6th Ave and S MacArthur Street.

This year, the Historical Society will feature an All-City Junior ROTC Color Guard, representing all the JROTC units in the Tacoma School District, a brass ensemble from the 133rd Army Band from the Washington National Guard, and a keynote speaker.

Following the ceremony, Narrows Bridge VFW Post 10018 (4741 N Baltimore St, Tacoma, WA 98407) will host a lunch that is open to the public from noon to 2:00 pm for anyone participating in the event.
